NEFELI GEORGAKOPOULOU

Georgakopoulou Nefeli is an architect and a digital artist. After her Master’s degree (2014) in Digital Arts and Virtual Reality from the Paris 8 University and the Athens School of Fine Arts, she became a member of the EnsadLab research laboratory of the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (2014-2017).

From 2007 until 2011 she worked with Les Frères Campana on the renovation project of New Hotel in Athens. She also worked with the artist Nikos Alexiou on the production of the artwork THE END which was presented at the 25th Venice Biennale.

She is currently conducting her PhD at Paris 8 University and at the same time she is a research associate in the University of Macedonia

SOPHIA KOURKOULAKOU

Sophia kourkoulakou graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Athens in 2009, she joined the Cinema Department of Paris VIII in 2008 and in 2014 she completed a Master II in Image Arts and Technologies.

She collaborated with the artistic director Pam Schneider, founder of Moment Factory, at the musical show "Robin de Bois", which premiered at the Palais de Congrès in Paris in 2013. She also worked with the choreographer K. Tsioukas for video projects and scenography in Athens.

Between 2014 and 2017, she worked as an executive and pedagogical manager of Formations design in the SME Modulo Pi. She wrote the documentation for the simulation software, real-time tracking and 3D mapping projection Modulo Kinetic.

Since October 2017, she has been part of the Spatial Media Research Laboratory of EnsadLab / PSL, developing her thesis topic on the spatialization of experience - hybrid spaces: projection and transmediality of Augmented Reality.

DIONYSIS ZAMPLARAS

After finishing his studies in photography and audiovisual, Dionysis Zamplaras continued at the level of the Master in Cultural Informatics, Multimedia, Digital Art and Virtual Reality at the Aegean University, School of Fine Arts in Athens and the ATI (Arts and Technology of Image) department of Paris 8 University. Currently, he is a PhD student in Paris 8, at the Edesta doctoral school, Inrev laboratory, under the supervision of Chu-Yin Chen. His thesis, titled: Interactive Design and Experience Mapping, aims to explore the dynamics offered by the use of new technologies and mapping in mixed reality creations, our synesthetic and emotional involvement with the virtual and to experiment with new mapping experience on our senses or vice versa, to make space as a place, a means for a multi-sensory experience.

He is freelancer in photography, computer graphics and multimedia applications. He has collaborated with the Aegean University and other organizations and companies in various digitization programs and multimedia applications for the promotion of culture and the environment.

INO THEODOROU

Ino Theodorou is an Architect Engineer, graduate of the Polytechnic School of the University of Thessaly (2010).
In 2014 she obtained a co-joint MA in Arts and Technologies of the Digital Image with distinction, from the Athens School of Fine Arts and Universite Paris 8.
Her master thesis studies the possibilities of an interactive, visual deformation of architecture through light, with the aid of projection mapping.
Since 2008 she has collaborated with technical offices in Athens, specializing in architectural design, visualizations and supervision, as well as with artists and creative groups, undertaking exhibitions' production & setup.
Currently, she is a research associate in the Integrated Systems Laboratory NCSR Demokritos, working on 3d modelling/animation and Unity development.
